Do you ever get tangled up in a thought loop?
You know being there is not serving you, yet you can’t loosen the knots?
A couple of days ago I was wondering about the kid down in Missouri. Understandably, he hasn’t been over eager to communicate with his parents.
That leaves a whole lotta space for my mind to create stories.
Aware of my balled up yarn, I got out a pair of metaphorical scissors and cut through the chaos. I put my mind on the task of writing a silly alliterative poem.
Selecting an elephant photo as my inspiration I wrote:

A pensive poem.
Perfect.
Utter nonsense,
but it worked!
Somebody else I know went out and tapped our maple trees in the dark.
Your mission, should you choose to accept….
Become aware of your knots and find your scissors?
Also, We've had such good weather here that I'm sure your son is doing a whole lot of fishing! Loosen the lasso a little bit!
Sorry about your maple trees! Maybe you'll be able to find out who did it?
