Today’s reading brought to mind “The Age of Aquarius” from a while back.
“Then Peace will guide the Planet
And love will steer the stars”

Hearing that song in my college days as the Viet Nam war continued, you’d be correct to guess many of my peers were Yearning For Peace. Especially ones with low Draft Lottery numbers!
It never occurred to me to start by seeking peace within myself? That might have allowed calm contemplation and helping to arrange letter-writing campaigns to our Congressmen, our president.
Yes, handwritten letters, hand addressed envelopes, and stamps!☮️
No web addresses. This was 1969! Otherwise to stay agitated and unfocused was to do nothing.
