I am glad to hear that something I wrote brought you connection to Maxine. :)
I too appreciate the quote you share. It is helpful to know that even though are paths are not the same...we are not walking alone.
I started Walden and never finished. Reviewing some of my highlights...Thoreau reminds me of wisdom from LT.
Like the quote in the newsletter...and this one: How can he remember well his ignorance—which his growth requires—who has so often to use his knowledge?
From little acorns great trees grow. I just ordered the framing of this quote to give to our grandkids. A gift from their grandmother with grandpa along for the ride.
Delicious, as always.
Thanks!
You mentioned a phrase you've recently adopted. Mine is..."Lord, let me be a channel for your grace."

"If a man does not keep pace with his companions, perhaps it is because
he hears a different drummer. Let him step to the music he hears, however measured
or far away.
In my office for over 30 years... is a framed artistic version of this quote gifted to me by my wife

Today thanks to yours, I did. Grateful as always.
