Methinks there is opportunity between trekking off to the wilds of Alaska and rooting one’s self so firmly that one never tastes life blooming around them.

This reminded me to take a look at my favorite quote of Thoreau's.

In my office for over 30 years... is a framed artistic version of this quote gifted to me by my wife
Candidly, it has faded into the background as I cannot recall the last time I viewed it with attention.
