Sue -- To have your voice in my morning inbox carries an invisible tie of connection and unity. And you keep introducing me to new thinkers/writers who add much to my daily rounds. I'm grateful!
Thank you for your words of appreciation. It is indeed an amazing place to be and I keep reminding myself not to take anything for granted. 💚
The. Cover. Is. Awesome. No doubt the contents will be even more so. Huge congrats, Gail! Releasing your creative baby into the world is an understandably emotional process. Thanks for sharing that with us.
Didn't the designer hit the cover out of the park? I'm beyond thrilled with it and how it fits "me". One of the "I like this" samples I sent him is the cover of the Tiny Love Stories your piece was published in. Thank you for sending me that delicious little book!
You know what's weird is that yesterday I could not put my finger on the reason for my melancholy. It came to me on the morning walk -- the metaphor and similarity to the day four years ago when we dropped the kid off at college. You give it your all and then -- if you want it to fly -- you have to let go.
I suspect you might experience some big feelings in the coming weeks as you prepare to welcome a new family member through ceremony and celebration!
When our children fly, which is what we raised them to do and hope they achieve, we still feel sad. Motherhood is a mixed bag of emotions. I'm buried in them lately!
I almost reached out for input knowing you created the Creative Community Gallery. But first I did an internet search to see if there was a way I could lead myself. There I found a video tutorial on using Google slides.
So awesome! Not only adding the artwork, but choosing backgrounds, beds, rugs, and bikes — oh my!
While writing BFN today, you were with me via The Well of Being by Jean-Pierre Weill.
I recalled when you sent me the book as a gift and I connecticated with the author via email. Jean-Pierre said he did not have a marketing campaign and that the book would “have to find its own way in the world”.
I happen to believe that God gets creations where they need to go… or at a minimum guides the awareness creating efforts. 😁
The book sits close at hand for me. Every once in a while I sit with and just savor its wisdom. A few years back I actually prepared a workshop based on the book.
You can do this. You already made it through the hard part. Congratulations on your new book. Much love to you.
Thank you Pennie! Every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end? (Not sure who tho credit for that!)
Taking the final steps to let my baby fly. 💜
Cheering you on as you cross this next threshold, Gail. What an amazing place to be and what an inspiration you are. Thank you 🌿

Yes! We want them to fledge and fly!
An empty nest does have some benefits. Less dishes. Less laundry. 😁
Another book ~ how wonderful! And the art gallery looks great 😊
Thank you Scott!

We do so like the way it feels when we earn it! 😁
Well done!
Good on you!
Thank you!
