Speaking of book three...book two was another success, Gail. I enjoyed getting to know the muses better, but especially, I'm so proud of you for dealing with the hard topic of your mother's death and doing it in your own voice. I felt your grief and the fear of exposing it--the sign of a good writer. I'm off to give you another 5-star review!

Thank you Karen!

I’ve had so many feelings and learnings from exploring my mom’s passing when I was ten.

We had a dog that died when our son was 6. I struggled to understand why he didn’t express any signs of sadness or distress when the pup he’d known his entire life was suddenly just gone.

I was able to connect that to my own experience… It was a reminder that children have a very different perception of death than adults do.

A five-star review. I am filled with appreciation. ❤️

Yes - children process life events differently, and sometimes not until they are adults. Also, BTW - I didn't know you were bad at directions, too! I get lost going around the block!

I always associate my dad with the phrase, “The road runs both ways.”

He recently told me he picked that up from my mom. 😂

There’s a downside to recording a wildly popular song. Alice’s Restaurant. I saw Arlo perform long ago here in north Florida. After each song he and his group performed a chorus of “Play Alice’s Restaurant” arose. I could see the frustration on his face. Finally he replied, “Buy the record.” As if an artist with a very successful song gets relegated to “one-trick-pony” status.

What forethought that you opted for the Muse Triplet set of books! Success with one and all.

I love that they are all so different, the trio of books. ❤️ Giving thanks for all of my readers who continue to cheer me on in exploring what's possible. I'm gratefully blessed.
