A wonderful lesson for self actualization. The drawing of tadpole stages fits reality, versus a frog egg followed by a bullfrog. The “Cinderella” style of childhood stories encouraged that “egg becomes frog” magical thinking. Did that early learning become a tacit barrier to living life like the stages of tadpoles? I just hope my coach doesn’t revert to pumpkinhood tonight!

It’s the theory of building walls!

We love the idea of overnight success… secretly long for a magical transformation or the Genie in a bottle… and while we’re wishing, life is flowing past?

What happens when we are present, making our choices moment to moment, actively aware, and questioning our scripts?

Didn't you read Jerry Harvey's Essay on "Phrog Farms" in "How Come Every Time I Get Stabbed in the Back My Fingerprints Are on the Knife".

Well, I did read the entire book. I'm not sure how many years ago that was, and the little mass of matter in my head has received countless inputs since then. I would really like to have a physical copy of Harvey's book. It is among the best I ever read.
