Oh, what attracted me to this post in the first instance was the title "Weeds". The "weeds" in my small part of the world are becoming visible to my neighbors, who are tolerant of a lot of things but

visible weeds is not one of those things. Truth be told I hate yard work. That's another story. One of the impacts of Covid is that I lost my yard maintenance person/friend of 20 plus years to retirement. His replacement loves the work less than he did. So, weeds are on my mind and, I suspect my neighbors too! Maybe, they'll come up with a solution?

Have you seen the film? It left me with a lot of questions. How did the teacher’s work carry through? And are any of her methods practiced today? And if not, why not? What hurdles need to be overcome.

I’m amazed that the teacher was able to get the woman who hid Anne Frank to come and talk to her students!

All good questions. I don't know the answers. My observation is that the gift she gave to her students was the unshakeable belief in the best in them. Or as some would say the deity in them. What she and they discovered was that underneath all the "conditioning" there is a human spirit in each of us aching desperately to be seen. The paradox, perhaps, irony is that each of us must discover or uncover that version of ourselves but requires relationship others or community to see it. The answer is inside each of us the context is outside it seems.

Beautifully said! Can I steal that?

Surely, but your not stealing it from me as there is nothing original, at least from me.
