Great questions Gail. I sense you lead from your heart and your brain does the insight work.

Can they row together? Yup! You're a whole person and they work together to keep you whole!

And it was several lifetimes ago (before my brain and heart started working well together) that I read any Vonnegut. I'm inspired to check out Galapagos from the library!

Good morning Gail. I read recently that Neanderthals were thought to have a low pain tolerance. Curious how that came about... Nudged by Vonnegut’s “big brain” comment, here’s a hypothesis: the comparatively smaller brains of Neanderthals may have led to a greater reliance on being. In the now. (Sabertooth tigers don’t attack in the future or past) Living by their senses, including “feeling” or touch. Heart? Now, with big brains, humans may be less sensitive tactically because of a greater reliance on intellect. Thinking; not so much living in the now?
