I watched
penguins
leap
waddle
march
huddle
communicate
Morgan Freeman
describes Antarctica as…
the harshest place on earth
where love finds a way
film stirred thinking
mind wouldn’t have conceived of fifteen+ years ago
change is the nature of living?
…
not only is penguin’s march
an amazing and mysterious feat
human ability to document
then watch
from comfort of couch
thousands of miles away
is quite a gift
yes?
Whatever you believe…
my wish is that you hold it lightly
and continue to be amazed by life’s dance.

I been dancing in my sleep and in my bed and head and just now at the beach! Thank you for your life's dance wishes! Back at you!
Happy, frosty morning Gail,
Are you up early with child-like wonder? Or, bark-woof-bark-bark-bark? Or simply the joy of preparing a tableau of special moments for the enjoyment of all?
Penguins! I watched a documentary about the Emperor Penguins of Antarctica several years ago. I was stunned, in part, by the creatures standing like statues through the coldest, darkest time of year.
Our dog was watching intently when the camera did a tight shot and she immediately turned her head toward the pond where she frequently sees Canada Geese. I didn’t expect her wheels to turn that way!
Are the penguins in your image part of your holiday decor? Any reindeer? A jolly old man with a sleigh? Henny with reindeer antlers?? 😬
Best wishes for this moment and day!
