On the sign titled: “We🫀Local” I was fascinated by the array of offerings! Adult, or Muses, in a candy store? In these times with social media being a key way to market goods, the sign noted above is a nostalgic throwback.
In the ‘50s, in our nearby county seat - population about 5000 - some merchants still used “sandwich boards” to advertise their wares. Would you call the sign bearer an “Ad Agency?”
The red barn wall…. Were there barns in your region sporting the ad: CHEW MAIL POUCH TOBACCO in earlier days? As you might guess, your adventure with the Three Muses dredged up a double handful of memories. Thanks.
Quick story… I only learned of pizza on the farm because I met the musician at the dog park. When I looked at his website it said he was playing there at a future date.
“What’s this?” The muses cried. “Pizza? On a farm? 20 minutes from home? Who knew?”
A couple of family members joined us and a good time was had by all.
