I just watched a film, Fisherman’s Friends.
Based in truth, it is about about a city music guy who finds himself in an English fishing town, Port Isaac.
There he finds I/Thou…harmony.
My yoga teacher Sarah often says…It is in our nature to forget.
I welcome the reminder.
Is Two Rivers indeed your home town and the same one in the photo? I watched the movie clip and would guess the guy wearing the cap is the city musician?
As to “universal alignment principles” I read a NYT article today that offered some ideas about managing anxiety and stress. A surprising part of the writer’s notions is that our brains are not for thinking! Rather, the brain’s primary role is to strive for and govern our physical well being. Her premise is that physical well being is the remedy for anxiety.
Universal alignment principles?
What does she mean by "it is in our nature to forget"?
