Forgiveness. We can start our day over at any time, but it takes some “be here now” to catch ourselves in the act. Or a kind mentor to nudge us into awareness. 🙏🏽

This morning I followed a link to an article on higher education. I find it encouraging that there is awareness that many people are fearful to speak their opinions on controversial matters.

I feel grateful that somebody(ies) is taking action.

One line in particular really struck a chord with me.

“One kind of resistance will surely make thing worse: attempts by politicians to counter left-wing muscle with right-wing muscle by stipulating the content of education through legislation or by installing cronies in hostile takeovers of boards of trustees.”

I appreciate your use of the word “nudge”. Being told what to do almost always erects a wall of resistance?

I think I’ve mentioned before the use of “It is suggested” in AA. My sponsor explained that was code for “Pay attention and do this.”

Our Constitution contains more than one personal freedom in its body along with Amendments. Separation of church and state stemming from The Church of England being forced on folks centuries ago. The notion seems so simple. The practice quite another thing. 🤷🏽

MYOB should be our country’s byline! In an age of acronyms, why not?

I treasure our dialog.

MYOB…. Ahhh, got it! Mind your own business.

I’m tempted to to speak openly on my opinion via a controversial issue… and yet I’m afraid to do so publicly here.

Evidence in support of the article?
