Gail, I am hopelessly behind on BFN, and I'm so glad I caught this one! The girls are leaving, huh? You've piqued my interest, and I will stay tuned! Belated Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Ha! Let the BFN backlog go... delete, delete, delete. 😂

Well, intuition tells me Cal/Tal/Nia have an opportunity to reach more people without me. We'll see.

In a conversation with a friend today I mused about what the muses have to offer. What I landed upon is... the trio demonstrates how we have conflicting thoughts inside of us, strength, weakness, emotion, reason, high, low... When we slow down to listen to those voices we hear/feel the subtle force that directs us aright (Thoreau, I think?). An adventure!

I hope you and your family had a wonderful Christmas. Ours was pleasantly quiet.

Happy New Year! Here's to 2022 -- writing, connecting, growing! Congrats on having an article published in the Huffington Post! I LOVE your random acts of kindness -- sending out a wave of joy.

I love your openness to where ever your winds of writing take you, Gail! May they take you and the muses to wonderful places in 2022. Like you, our holidays were quiet, which is fine with us. And I'm so glad you liked the RAKs piece. That was a big win for me! See you in the new year!

Yay! Colors galore. First, tell Urania the strong shoulders are a good look for her. Second, do you rinse all the water color residue down the drain? I should warn you that if the Waukesha Utility workers ever have to video your sewer line for repairs, the resultant rainbows spilling out of your pipe will result in some I’ll founded conclusions.

Judy Garland once lived here! Or, she’s a member of the rainbow coalition! (I bet they would be a happy lot). Where’s the pot of gold?

But on a grander scale, the calving of the Muses from the Born Free Newsletter resembles the mother bird (not a common cuckoo) hatching then fledging her young. Confident in all she’s taught them and equally certain that their best days lie ahead.

May their roads rise up to meet them!

Yours too.

Urania is laughing!

Wells and septic systems serve our neighborhood — no city water/sewers.

I try to use up all of the color. Just add water to reinvigorate!

Thanks! It’ll be fun to give them their own spaces. An experiment! All of life is an experiment. 😉
