Aha! Cleverly designed- not starting today’s newsletter with the usual lead in image. That made this reader want to know if this was the experiment!
This experiment caused me to wonder what the artists would think, from long before our digital world, after peering into this box? How many would scorn this “contrivance?” How many instead would see the box and digital imaging as a new paintbrush or chisel and hammer or buckets of paint?
The muses had to think fast this morning Gary. They’d slept in a bit and had an 8:00 Zoom conversation.
Perhaps the lack of a lead in photo was just a time saving measure? 😂 Happy to hear it stirred curiosity.
If everything can be this, everything can be that… why do si many of us choose to see the dirt instead of the shine? 🤷♀️ Does it have to do with our amygdala searching for threats? I suspect sharp minds are exploring…
I didn’t even know the exhibit was here in Milwaukee until a friend suggested it as an outing. I’m so grateful to have had the opportunity! His work… displayed in such an immersive fashion was truly an amazing experience.

I'd heard of this exhibit, Gail - thanks for sharing a snippet of it. Boy, I'd love to see it in person someday!

I hope you get to go, too!
