The "What time is it" question from my grandchildren invariably elicits the answer "now". Why do they find the answer unsatisfactory? Today the answer was "now plus one". Huh?

We sat at the bar and had a nice conversation with the young woman serving drinks. I was texting N pictures (unkind?) and letting him know we wished he was with us. ;) The bartender said her mom sends pics of home cooked meals as a reminder she doesn’t come home enough. “And it’s a real tease because she’s a really good cook!” she said.
