I find it much easier to follow your work when the lights are on... in my brain! My first interpretation of the image was, “What a beautiful tenderloin! Lean and well trimmed.”
When the muses began their observations, I began to have my doubts. “She ate a whole, raw tenderloin?!” Hmmm... I’ll blame the lack of full illumination on the gloomy, cloudy conditions outside just now.
Remember Goldilocks and the Three Bears? The range of human preferences is like her sampling porridge, chairs and beds. I like my coffee piping hot and black. My wife adds milk and ice cubes for a tolerable experience. Yet trying her cup would defile my tastebuds!
There’s something in grapefruit that actually enhances the effects of statins. But also put strains on the liver (which statins use to clean up cholesterol) that can cause percent damage. 😳 And yes, the sugar isn’t great either, but there’s also fiber and stuff to compensate. 😊
I battled LDL being at or above 200 for many years. Being statin intolerant made that route impossible. Diet and exercise changes made no difference either. A year and a half ago a Lipidologist prescribed Repatha. Injectable every two weeks. LDL dropped from 206 to 74 in less than 3 months. No conflict with grapefruit, but doesn’t play nice with “doughnut holes.” Life...

Sometimes I confuse myself Gary! Thank goodness the sun is out today in Wisconsin.

A wonderful reminder that there is no “right” way. Thanks!
Me too Gary, me too!

<sigh> I miss grapefruit. Doesn’t go with my simvastatin meds. 😞
Want us to eat one for you Jack?😉 Too much sugar I’m guessing? I think I’ll not be able to eat one again without considering that sugar content...

Wow, Gary, 74 LDL is not too bad at all! My doctor was impressed with my 84 reading a a couple months ago. Good for you! 👏 And grapefruit! 👍
What??? No donut holes?
