I’m curious….
How many of you have attended a wedding where the bride’s family sits on one side of the aisle and the groom’s on the other?
And then later attended a reception, where the bride’s family and friends congregate together, as do the groom’s?
Only the courageous, gregarious, and extroverted cross the divide of comfort?
Do you cross the aisle?
Get curious about the Smiths, Johnsons, Knutsons, Boennings, Rodriqguez, Changs—the other?
For a long time, I didn’t cross the aisle.
Fear…..
I’m working to change that piece of myself.
Where else is there an aisle?
What if we all sat on the same side?
Me? I'm the introvert so if I can hide in a corner with a drink I'm fine. Maybe after 3 or 4 drinks I'll talk to anyone.
Taking it literally, we need aisle to bail out! Consider it good or bad... People sit near to aisle for ease to go to the bathroom, to quickly exit out fo the plane.
