Nope, I have not had a baby.
Sheesh—I would have told you before today. :)
I’m practicing a journal technique learned in art class last Wednesday. You might see improvement in my drawing after class #2?
Five minutes journal practice:
2 minutes “What I did” + 2 minutes “What I saw” + 30 seconds “I heard someone say” + 30 seconds draw a picture= creative juice and BFN ideas
So today my last “what I did” bullet point reads: walked barefoot in cold, wet grass.
You see, at sunrise barkhowlbarkbarkbark had me set down my coffee to see what was the matter.
Deer—they are now teasing through the glass.
As a measure of kindness, concerned about upstairs sleepers, I snapped on collar and leash in a rush—no jacket or boots—we exited through the garage.
Three solid Woof-Woof-Woofs later the whitetail retreated into the brush.
Good girl Henny! We’re safe from the herbivore now….
I hope we didn’t disturb our neighbor’s sleep.
They are on short supply as they brought home their fourth, fresh offspring on Monday.
Welcome to the world little Riley, Ryleigh, Rileigh—I haven’t asked about the spelling, yet. ;)
Wishing you a life filled with sprinkles and joy!
I saw “Moses about to get tossed in the river,” which probably says more about my mind than your drawing style. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ 😁
I'm with Jack on the "Moses" thought! Was your brunette, curly-haired mom neighbor showing the new face to someone off-camera? You? The five-minute exercise, I think, must pass in a flash. Creative juice flow to be sure.
