“Nostalgia.” Urania crunched on a snap pea. “Her parents used to grow wax beans in a little plot of dirt that her country aunt and uncle let them plant. They’d drive from Two Rivers to Cooperstown… She’d get to play with her cousins while her parents tended and picked.”
“I found a recipe!” said Thalia. “And it has bacon in it!”
Another multi-dimensional BFN. From childhood reminiscence, an image synonymous with summer, to a yummy sounding recipe. I’m with Thalia and her “Yay bacon!” Visions of applewood smoked, dry cured thick strips fill my noggin. Finding wax beans may be the only complication for using the recipe…
