Long ago we’d kid about whether a person that retained spoken information poorly was hard of hearing, or just hard of listening! Much later I heard an account of a person struggling to sort out the confusion in their lives. He had been encouraged to seek God’s will. After hearing a message in his head several times in succession he took the prescribed action, which was of much help. The fellow concluded, “God doesn’t shout. I have to quiet myself and listen.” So I like your message about paying heed to our inner voices. For me, intuition falls in the category of inner voices. As I’ve allowed myself to follow intuitive urges I’m pleased, and sometimes surprised, at their value. I still can’t paint rainbow turkeys or draw a bunny, but I know someone that is making great progress with both!

The same reader who asked me, “What if you didn’t expect anything?” also gifted me a three word phrase that had served me incredibly well — Follow the energy.

I agree intuition and that little voice are often incredibly difficult to hear because the outside world roars quite loudly.

I’m grateful to have friends and readers, who like me, are listening as best they can.
