“Uhhh… well, maybe Typist can check out some how to videos on YouTube?” Calliope raised her brows. “She’s got the essence of the neighbor’s tree captured with watercolors, but there’s definitely room for improvement.”
Thalia, consumed with giggles, couldn’t even respond.
Urania paged furiously through Typist’s notepad. “Here it is… ‘We will discover the nature of our particular genius when we stop trying to conform to our own or other people’s models, learn to be ourselves, and allow our natural channel to open.’ Shakti Gawain… I don’t know who that is, but I like what he said.”
Hi all! Today I found myself inspired by a letter inside a newsletter.
Shaun Usher collects and publishes letters online and in books. Today he shared a letter written by Kurt Vonnegut to a handful of high school students.
I like what he said.
Maybe you will too?

Simply wonderful!! I know you know I'm both a fan of yours and Kurt's. What a delight to step into a world where you and he are simultaneously present. Which requires just a smidge of 4th dimensionality or quantum mechanics... And let's not forget Shaun Usher's efforts. Imagine an acting class in which the assignment is to portray Vonnegut's letter! Creatively, of course. Stamp not required. This has ignited some smoldering embers in me. Hoping for them not to become a dumpster fire! Many thanks.
