“She’s been dilly-dallying around too long this morning,” Calliope whispered.
“Should we help her?” asked Thalia.
Crunching a pilfered pecan from the Thanksgiving pie on the counter, Urania cleared her throat. “She’s got it now…she just needed to remember us first.”
There is so much I am grateful for today…every day…including Henrietta who barked her fool head off while I was on a 6:00 am Zoom call.
Fourlegs!
Can’t live with them…most certainly cannot live without them. 🤍
You don’t need (or mostly likely want) a list of what I am grateful for.
You don’t need (or mostly likely want) me to remind you to be grateful.
so
I
simply
say
thank
you
Love,

My friend Chris Palmore gave life a big embrace this week. In addition to getting married, he published his first book Dear Gratitude, An Anthology.
Mara and my favorite fisherman make an appearance.
:)
My friend Jay Armstrong shared a poem by Raymond Carver in his newsletter today. I want to share it with you...
And did you get what
what you wanted from this life, even so?
I did.
And what did you want?
To call myself beloved, to feel myself
beloved on the earth.
May you feel beloved today.
Grateful for you and your writing, Gail. Happy Thanksgiving.
