“Why did we sprinkle salt on the paint while it was still wet?” asked Calliope.
“Ummm… the example notes say… salt makes craters! I think somewhere in the watercolor book it talks about a salt technique.” Thalia shrugged.
“Well — Why haven’t we read the book?” Urania squinted.
“It’s watercolor, not brain surgery,” Tal quipped. “And we are short on time, but big on LIVE. I signed us up for a #paintyourday22 challenge over on Instagram.”
“Seriously?” Nia folded her arms.
Tal grinned and nodded. “Seriously.”
“Okay… Watercolor, check. Newsletter, check. Now let’s finish that final proofread of Flourishing Fictions — Let’s go read our book.”
“Again?” Thalia moaned.
“Yes,” said Cal and Nia together. “Yes.”
