Hillside
Blanketed
with
uninvited
guests
Pull
Get
the
roots
Make
space
For
what
you’d
like
to
grow
I once wrote that in my life I’ve picked up limiting beliefs like candy thrown at a parade.
Surely I’m not the only one who gobbled what did not serve?
What stories are you telling yourself—about yourself—that hold you back from better?
Pulling weeds is tedious
and gratifying.
Who is responsible for your garden?
I like the weed metaphor.
I pulled many as a child in the family garden.
Perhaps one is never too old to resume.
I am always in two thoughts about weeds. On one side they are unwanted but on the other side, they are part of nature and complete the whole circle of life! Without them, the chain will be broken. When people use harsh chemicals to remove them, it causes cancer. Why do we remove weeds, because they do not look beautiful? But beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
