“I’d like to meet the muses behind Collateral Beauty.” Urania tapped her index finger on her lips. “Time, death, and love… turned into characters. Artistic license. Their handlers must be feeding them more popcorn than we get.”
“Do you hear that Typist? More popcorn… more butter! We’ll be able to write better stories?” Thalia’s question lilted like a red, helium-filled balloon escaping into a blue sky. Up!
“I don’t think it works that way, although popcorn surely can’t hurt,” said Typist. “I think the best stories come from writers and muses who expose themselves to as many colors as possible… like that palette of 36 paint shades we saw at the store yesterday. When we share experiences, we expand our own lives… empathy is the ability to understand and share the feelings of another. Movies are a way to travel without actually moving.”
“And then we pick a few feelings to weave new stories?” asked the Muse of Many Questions. “While joyfully munching warm buttered popcorn.”
