I second Jack's comment about needing to edit before I send. Plus, my handwriting is atrocious and my hand cramps! But I do appreciate a hand-written note, so sometimes I'll type something out, then copy it into a card by hand. Or, if it's long, I'll print it out and put it in the card with a hand-written signature. lol!
Deb does hand-written notes to people, and does them well — content *and* handwriting. Me, I need to be able to backspace, to edit, to go “Nah, now that I see it, I can do better.” That’s why I like sending pre-printed personalized cards, especially to my wife! Nothing like composing a lovely poem that doesn’t quite fit on the card. 🙄
