There’s a stamp for that?
the New York Times
is tracking mail speed?
that’s interesting…
must have something to do with the upcoming election?
one thing I learned while researching food health benefits
back in xSeedingly Satisfying days
is that almost every study has an opposite to refute its findings
When we study something, do we often find what we’re looking for?
anyhow…
as an observer at Mukwonago’s post office yesterday
here is what I saw…
a “We’re Hiring” sign posted in a number of locations
including the front door
they’re looking for rural carriers
a line of two people before
and one after
me
with a stack of envelopes
moving at efficient speed
a postal clerk
whose smiling face
has greeted me for years
I learned
there is a 70 cent stamp
that’ll carry
the Gift of Shared Kindness
to any United States Address
I bought a full sheet
of California Dogface
butterfly stamps
perfect
Here’s hoping you find what you’re looking for today!
I know today's BFN was not intended to invite controversial comments...I am, however, dismayed to read accounts of chicks (as in baby chickens) ordered by folks that arrive dead. Unlikely they go through sorting machines. It wasn't that long ago that I could enter the nearest Post Office building and hear "peep, peep, peep" or a rooster crowing. Even late morning! Delayed prescriptions for folks living in very sparsely populated areas like Montana or Wyoming or Idaho as well as others. Perhaps the hiring of rural delivery carriers is part of a "Save The Chicks" campaign. Sorry. It fascinated me to read "Non-machineable surcharge" below each butterfly. Bulky packages? No weight limit?
I'm biased of course but I think the Postal Service does a good job. I have no qualms with them.
