“Who took that gorgeous photo?” Urania asked. “We must give credit to the photographer.”
Thalia picked at a hangnail.
Calliope shuffled through the index cards for Flourishing Fictions and wondered how she and Typist kept losing track. There should be 27 and she counted only 25.
“Well?” pressed Nia.
Thalia shrugged.
“We’re stealing like artists? We don’t know who took it. Maybe it’s a stock photo? If Typist was the photographer she wouldn’t mind. She’d feel happy,” Cal said. “Do you know where the cards are for the stories Typist is sending to her dad? I can’t find them.”
“We left them on the kitchen counter,” said Thalia. “Isn’t it great that friends and family are willing to contribute six-word-stories and haikus for our next book?”
“Yes! It’s great to share the fun of making things.” Cal’s voice trailed as she left the studio for the kitchen.
“Like our friend Chris Palmore,” added Thalia. “He’s inviting people to read gratitude quotes so that he can share them in video form.”
“And Typist’s reading was simple,” said the Muse of Determination. “She recorded Mister Roger’s quote on her phone… then sent the file to Chris who did the rest. Anybody can send him one! Here is a link to co-create. I hope our readers will let us know if we’ve inspired them to join in the fun. They can listen to Typist’s recording by clicking on the picture at the bottom of today’s letter.”
Calliope returned, all 27 cards in hand. “Okay… back to work!”
I missed this on BFN, but came across it on Twitter. Very cool! I may take up the challenge, but you stole my favorite person--Fred Rogers!
I enjoyed the little video! Thank you.
