“That kid is always teaching us something,” said Thalia.
“A 6.61 pound bass?” asked Calliope. “Is that big… for a fishy?”
“Where have you been for the last sixteen years?” Urania teased. “We’ve been on a steady diet of fish thoughts since the boy started angling at the pond with his purple and orange Lil’ Rhino pole.”
“He certainly puts his mind into present action when he’s in the boat,” said Thalia.
“Will he be able to find the fish on Friday — for the tournament?” asked Calliope.
“Maybe — or maybe not,” said Urania. “And in this moment… does that matter?”
“Be here; be now?” asked Calliope.
“Uh-huh!” Urania and Thalia nodded in agreement.
Very cool! Although I never got into fishing. My uncle made it ever so boring when he took me and my cousins along.
Now that is a nice bass!
