“Huh,” Urania puffed. “Whose idea was it to draw this morning?”
Urania elongated the word draw… and made the face of somebody who’d just licked a lemon.
Calliope nibbled a nail.
Thalia replied, “Mine — and I feel great about how the mountains came out! I do need to work on drawing clothes. I mean — who climbs mountains in the nude?”
“Adding the Bon Voyage bookmark is a nice dash of connection to yesterday’s letter,” Calliope offered with a wink and a smile. “Placeholder.”
“Well… we do need to say something after the cliff hanger I suppose,” said Urania. “… dangling readers, like dangling participles, will only hold on so long?”
“Who’s going to spill it?” asked the muse of many questions.
“I’m feeling shy,” said Thalia.
“Me too,” said Calliope.
“Oh, alright… like a bandaid… one, two, three… Wandering Words is available on Kindle!”
Dale Earnhardt would have been impressed by Urania’s speed of speech.
“Here’s the thing dear readers… we’re still learning,” added Thalia. “Yesterday we uploaded some edits to the ebook and as best we can tell, they’re not in the system yet.”
“And — now we need to work on the paperback edition,” said Calliope. “We want to have that ready to fly the nest on the first day of spring.”
Urania imitated the call of a cardinal.
“And then… she’s agreed to let us write the NEXT book!” said Thalia.
“No drawings yet… okay ladies?” asked Urania. “Just writing and photos?”
Hurrah! 🥳
We did it!
Born Free Family — I never would have had the courage and where-with-all to publish a book without you.
My heartfelt thanks for your generous support.
Our magical I/Thou math has created a book.
A book!
*Please marvel at the beautiful cover drawn by my friend Anya.
And then… if you decide to purchase, wait a few days until the edits go through.
The paperback will have pages you can draw on.
We won’t tell Urania.
