BEYOND THE CORN…..
Guys!
I’ve got a project percolating.
Do you remember How to meet a demon?
Well….
The answer it seems
is something like…
JUST RIP THE BANDAID!!!!
I met Jack on Monday.
We were both nervous.
And it was lovely.
Me: Can I write about our conversation?
Jack: Yes…that’s no problem.
Me: I have to tell you though….I won’t write exactly what you say….I’ll write what I hear.
Jack: I understand…it’ll be filtered through your experience.
A cascade of positive feelings is whispering….
You’re on to something here.
And so….
I’m intending a collection of conversations published and shared in a
collection?
book?
(imagine nail biting on my end) series?
Starting with people in their 8th decade…..
I/Thou
Let me know what you think?
Do you know anybody in their eighties who wants to play with me?
Corn Salsa
3 large ears of corn
1 red onion
2 peppers (your choice of variety0
1 large tomato
1/3 - 1/2 cup lime juice
3/4 tsp ground cumin
1/2 - 1 tsp chili powder
1 15 oz. can rinsed black beans
The salsa can be served raw or cooked, which mellows the flavor. To cook, heat the salsa in a skillet over medium heat. Bring to a boil, remove from heat, cool.

>> I won’t write exactly what you say….I’ll write what I hear.
Or, as I tell Deb, my write-ups of our conversations will always be truthful... but not necessarily factual. 😁
Now this is a fine two-fer. First you fed my brain. Then you seemed intent on feeding my gizzard! The recipe sounds yummy and perhaps we’ll-suited for fire breathing dragons. Demons?
