I’m feeling a little stage fright this morning.

Hello! Welcome!
I’m both delighted….
and
terrified.
Butterflies in my belly, I work to herd my thoughts into some semblance of sense.
Presence and Pause
remind me
we have everything we need
Yesterday in a conversation with my friend Manu, we discussed how we can share a collaboration with an audience who might appreciate what we made. (More on that another day….)
Manu asked, “Can we start from a deep question?”
I nodded my head up and down.
“Are we marketing for generosity…..or profit.”
Just the question to frame our discussion in a clear light!
Manu shared the work of Dana Ray and introduced me to the idea of Ground Truth. In simple terms your ground truth is…..
I (verb) so that (result).
One of mine is:
I (connect) so that (1+1 is greater than 2).
When I remember my ground truth, generosity is natural….
stage fright evaporates.
You and me
ain’t it good to be alive?
Ain’t no better place,
ain’t no better time….
Have you explored your ground truth(s)?

Roland Merullo’s comparison of absolute and relative in Rinpoche’s Remarkable Ten-Week Weight Loss Clinic
“In the Absolute view, you are perfect now, this minute…..Nothing wrong with your body, nothing wrong with your face, nothing wrong even with the things you done so far in this life. Nothing. Who doesn’t think this is true?”
Wonderful post!! I love how you connect random dots to make perfect sense!!!
And thanks for making me famous!!
Just based on Roland Merullo’s comparison of absolute and relative, I am interested in his book!!
It also makes me think how one comment can really enable someone to buy a book!!!
BTW, Did you read this book? How did you find it? Not sure if this is the right question to ask - Does it apply to me as a Vegetarian?
Grand slam! Well, it is baseball season. Sort of... Between the bookends of Kenny Chesney and Roland Merullo, you served up a giant helping of being present and striving for connection. In the 60’s we would have watched a concert with all the projected activities a la Chesney’s here and now and exclaimed, “Far out!” Indeed you are.
