Can

find
the
beach?
Yesterday I took Henrietta to Lake Michigan’s shore.
The trails leading to the beach were crowded with people and dogs.
Henrietta acted like the walk was her first trip outside our yard.
Curious
Expressive
Pulling
Choking
Poorly Behaved?
Or, appropriate for high strung Henrietta?
I had a choice….
feel unsettled and upset,
or, embrace my lovely mess.
