Just how many coffees and donuts has Urania already had?! Muse or no, she could be a real handful!
More on topic, despite the various horrors 2020 has offered up, there is more cause than ever to focus on gratitude. On sharing. Sustaining a posture of loving-kindness into a new year.
Thanks, Gail, for kindling and sustaining such energy in a reformed grinch!
If I’m going to carry on writing about the muses, I’d best start defining their personalities. Right now the names tied to traits is completely random. Maybe that’s okay...a good thing? None of us have to define ourselves with labels, do we?
We had our fireplace swept yesterday and lit the first fire if the season last night. It was so delicious, I lit another this morning. Grateful.
While just turning the knob to light gas fireplace logs is quick, the lack of burning wood smells, the popping sounds as the wood burns, and the variety of colored flames adds so much.
Ureka! I know how to fix the gas log deficiencies: add fireproof, concealed speakers that connect by Bluetooth to a smartphone app that offers choices of “soundtracks” and management of volume to set the right mood.
Even without the added technology, our ancient Maine Coon kitty loves the warmth.
I’ve remarked before, “If I don’t know the facts, I invent them!” And this is the 21st century after all! We can scoop up rocks from a moving asteroid and bring them to earth for scrutiny!
The hissing of not-quite-dry firewood is also pretty nifty...
Our firebox is elevated above the floor enough that speakers could be fitted like “old days” car door speaker installations that required cutting the right sized hole. Pulling low voltage wire down a wall cavity is easy-peasy.
A Boze mini-Bluetooth speaker would capture all the nuances.
Now I have to commission an app developer to do the app...
Leo is our crunchy kitty. (As in old and embrittled)
The Bluetooth idea seems irrelevant to her just now. “Keep life simple” seems to be her motto.

Have you set out to invent this fireproof speaker? Does it already exist?
The popping is quite nice. 😉
What is the kitty’s name?

Leo ...perfect! Henny and I met a golden named Wilbur at the dog park this morning. Woof!
Whether it's awareness or promotion, it's exciting Gail! I'll try to listen to some of your interview(s).
