The message strikes me as seeking a time when we can honestly tell ourselves, "I'm enough."

I read recently that Prince Harry is a big fan of Brene Brown. Some time ago, I was visiting a friend who lived in a communal community. They had bought an old tobacco farm, complete with a weathered tobacco barn that had been converted to various craft enterprises. A guest potter who was working that day created magnificent pieces in porcelain, glazed to startlingly beautiful finishes! As my friend took me to the barn to show me his current project, Redwood (the potter) was smashing a number of her finished pieces in a 55-gallon drum! Seeing my amazed expression, she calmly explained that once the glazes are fired, if she sees anything resembling a flaw she has to destroy the piece... At that time she had pieces on exhibit at the Smithsonian Institution and enjoyed a long line of patronage and usually produced only commissioned pieces. Perfection? Prince Harry to Redwood: striving to be enough to striving for perfection. Both blades of grass, tho' most of mine lack red hair!
