feedback loops
“Is that the best we can do? Pencil drawings on coffee stained paper?” asked Calliope.
“Yes.” Thalia’s reply was short and to the point. Henny had a restless night and there was an activity filled morning on the horizon.
“So… What does it mean?” Cal pressed.
“The drawing is meant to represent feedback loops,” said Thalia. “I’ve been thinking about our conversation yesterday with our friend who has played an extensive number of video games.”
Urania looked up from her book. “Interesting to think about video games having a short feedback loop… when compared to social interactions. If you get singed by the dragon, you can try again right away.”
“Unlike when you say something hurtful or inconsiderate and Calliope stops talking to you for a week?” asked Thalia.
“Hey!” Cal scowled. “I’ve been working to shorten my mull it over timeframe… to feel the feelings and then move on. I’ve found that carrying chips on my shoulders only slows me down.”
