decisions, decisions
Opening the hand addressed envelope, Etta was aware she’d have a choice to make. The heft and girth of holiday greetings did not disappoint — a tri-fold of color, smiles, and adventure.
Etta had garnered herself a bit of a reputation as a holiday Scrooge. She attributed some of her bad attitude to what she saw as excesses, affronting her minimalist and humble sensibilities. Despite years of inner practice, she still sometimes reverted to acting as a judge instead of a learner. Will I chose my small, shadow self this season? Or, can I remember I am choosing my own grand adventures? Will I see darkness or light?
Inside the card was a phrase that caught Etta’s attention: Taking nothing for granted and living our best life.
That’s beautiful… Brings me joy.
Etta chose her gift of grace and saw the card as an opportunity to remember that we live in an abundant Universe.
