The Universe rewards action. ~Unknown
“We’ll never get to the other side,” said Thalia.
“With that kind of thinking…you’re right…stuck on one side of the river,” said Urania.
“Who said, Whether you think you can, or think you can’t — you’re right?” asked Calliope.
“It was Ford — the auto manufacturer, not the president,” said Thalia.
“Did you pick up on that lovely little reframe offered in To Bless the Space Between Us by John O’Donohue?” Calliope asked. “What if instead of boundary…we use the word threshold when we’re standing at the edge?”
“We like it!” Urania and Thalia nodded together.
To change is one of the great dreams of every heart — to change the limitations, the sameness, the banality, or the pain So often we look back on patterns of behavior, the kind of decisions we make repeatedly and that have failed to serve us well, and we aim for a new and more successful path or way of living. But change is difficult for us. So often we opt to continue the old pattern, rather than risking the danger of difference.

Boundaries?
Or thresholds?
What a difference a word can make.
I once saw a bumper sticker - hold on, Calliope - that read: “Life takes its toll. Bring change.” To me that suggested the inevitability of challenges in our lives, and advised being flexible. To recognize thresholds. And step over.
If a word or phrase can make all the difference than rather than "change is "difficult" what if
one said "change just is"?
