come what May
“That title?” Urania squinted at her partners in rhyme. “I’m aware we brought home cut daffodils from the grocery, wore tennis shoes instead of boots this morning, and walked with our hood down…but, May is still a long way off my friends.”
“That’s not what I meant when I wrote the title Nia…who slipped in that capital M?” asked Thalia.
“Wasn’t me!” said Urania and Calliope in unison.
“So…what did you mean?” asked Calliope with a grin.
“I was thinking about our conversation with Chris from Gratitudespace…how he has a meeting coming up with a potential partner…a business that has the potential to share his mission far and wide…like last week’s cold, snow, and ice covered the US of A…only for the better…ha!” said Thalia.
“He is using a brilliant, simple, and effective strategy, isn’t he?” asked Calliope.
“Approaching the meeting from an awareness that he’ll send his conversant a letter of gratitude for the conversation…come what may,” Urania shared.
“Without expectation…,” added Calliope.
“Opens the door for presence and possibility,” Thalia continued.
“And…come what may…nobody gets needlessly hurt or disappointed,” said Urania.
“At the very least, Chris will learn something?” Calliope asked.
“A spring-like energy around the interaction…what can we plant and grow together?” Thalia said.
“May,” Calliope and Urania nodded.
