Calliope worried her bottom lip with her incisors. “So… ummm… It’s been a while. How do we handle this?”
“A while? Six weeks is nothing in terms of millennia.” Grape juice flew from Thalia’s mouth onto the keyboard. “Even in a human life… six weeks is like a hummingbird stopping for a sip from a half-dead nasturtium on its way south. A blip.”
Urania flashed a scowl at Thalia for making the keys sticky, then took a dainty nibble from her tiny twist. “We simply say… ‘Hello. We’re back. Secret reasons.’ We don’t have to tell all.”
“All the lush learning Typist has had… unshared. Oh well.” Thalia shrugged and snagged another grape from the vine. “Worry is a total waste of time. Does it change anything? No!”
Calliope sighed. “All worry does is steal your joy and keep you very busy doing nothing.”
“Well we can tell the readers about Typist’s learning from yesterday. She… errrr we… learned a new adjustment at a body alignment class with a new-to-Typist-teacher. Typist thinks the tilt she’s practicing with her sternum will straighten some of her zigs and zags… maybe alleviate some aches and pains… free up those sticky shoulders,” said the Muse of Determination. In her straightforward way to the punchline, she set down her half eaten pretzel and added, “Typist learned the benefit of sampling people, places, and ideas. You never know where the keys to buried treasure might be found. The world is a veritable smorgasbord.”
“It sure is good to be back!” Thalia swallowed what remained in her mouth before executing a flawless backflip. “Let’s not wait so long next time.”

Hi everyone,
It felt so good to write this issue of BFN. Every time I step away, there is a hole in my life. I’m going to keep experimenting and living my questions. Book #3 is in the works. Thank you for your continued support of Gail’s life as a work in progress.
Love and best wishes to all. Maybe see you tomorrow. 🤷🏻♀️
