Guess who did that?
Idle paws make their own meaning?
While looking for poetry and hums, I’m filled with introspection.
Why not share some of my guides?
Digging my well,
cleaning up after Henrietta
and waiting…
Our job is to create the void, to dig the well, to create emptiness so that the light of the world can pour in and through us. ~Rolf Gates
In our fear we believe that we must make things happen; in our practice we learn to let things happen. ~Rolf Gates
Community is the fact that we work toward the same goal, that we accept our respective roles in order to reach it. Values is the fact that we trust each other. That we love each other. ~excerpt from Beartown by Fredrik Backman
Ugh. It's one of the most frustrating things about gardening - when a critter, even one as cute as Henri, ruins all your hard work. I guess there's a lesson in that, too - to decide what's REALLY important.
That was a real humdinger! Henri’s efforts weren’t half bad either. ;). But on a serious note, I couldn’t agree more. The idea of digging a well to create space in ourselves for new ways of seeing, and being, so easily becomes work for “another day.” What jars us into realizing the need for a little well digging? Or a lot... if only Henri could share her motivation!
